It remains unclear how much orforglipron would cost in the United Kingdom because the medication has not yet officially launched there.

Meanwhile, rival pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk — the maker of Wegovy and Ozempic — is also developing oral alternatives to injectable GLP-1 treatments.
