A Car Break-In Led to the Theft of Secret Beyoncé Music… And Now Someone Is Going to Prison

A man accused of stealing unreleased Beyoncé music and highly sensitive tour materials from a rental car in Atlanta has officially been sentenced to prison after accepting a plea deal in court.

Kelvin Evans, 41, was sentenced to two years behind bars after pleading guilty to several charges, including entering an automobile and criminal trespass. A judge also ordered an additional three years of probation once his prison term ends.

The shocking theft happened in July 2025, just days before Beyoncé kicked off the Atlanta leg of her massively successful Cowboy Carter tour at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
