Beyond helping maintain weight loss, patients on the drug also showed improvements in blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar control.
Dr Simon Cork from Anglia Ruskin University described the findings as “really important,” especially because they address one of the biggest weaknesses of current injectable obesity treatments.
