People moved out of her way.
One employee even whispered, “Uh-oh… she’s back.”
Curious, I watched as she stopped in front of a nearly empty shelf.
For a moment, she just stared at it.
Then she shook her head.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” she muttered.
The young worker nearby apologized and explained that the item she wanted had sold out again.
What happened next surprised everyone.
Instead of yelling or complaining, the woman smiled sadly and said:
“You know why I keep coming back for this?”
