Federal investigators claim several people including doctors, dealers, and Perry’s own assistant supplied the actor with increasing amounts of ketamine despite obvious warning signs about his deteriorating condition.
The case has exposed what prosecutors describe as a disturbing underground system of medical professionals and drug suppliers willing to profit from vulnerable celebrities battling addiction.
Fleming is now the fourth person sentenced in the federal investigation.
Last month, Jasveen Sangha a Los Angeles drug dealer nicknamed the “Ketamine Queen” was sentenced to 15 years in prison after prosecutors accused her of supplying the ketamine that directly contributed to Perry’s overdose death.
Authorities described Sangha as a major illegal ketamine distributor operating within celebrity circles in southern California.
