The gas stove base should be made of fireproof material. It is advisable to place the stove at least 15cm from the wall, 1-1.5m from the ceiling and 1.5m from other electrical equipment. Note, do not place anything on the gas pipe.
Clean the stove regularly:
If the stove is old or rusty, it should be replaced to ensure safety. The gas valve and gas pipe need to be checked regularly to detect cases of punctured pipes, valve leaks, … causing gas to leak out. With gas pipes, it should be replaced after 3-5 years of use.
