Reese’s video definitely stirred up fear – but he didn’t just leave people panicking. He also offered practical advice on what to do if you ever see something tied to your car door handle.
His main point was simple: don’t walk straight up to the car alone and start fiddling with it.
Instead, he suggested that if you notice wire, string or anything else suspicious on your vehicle, the safest move is to go back to the most populated place nearby – the store, the mall entrance, or wherever you just came from – and ask for help.
That might mean asking a staff member, security guard, or even another person to walk out with you so you’re not isolated in a quiet parking lot while dealing with something you didn’t put on your car in the first place.
