You’ve probably seen the meme: a strange blue plastic gadget and the line, “Marry the girl who doesn’t know about this thing.” It looks like a joke about innocence and “good girls.” In reality, the joke completely misses the point.
That mysterious blue object is not a toy, not a trend and not a symbol of promiscuity.
