What the tiny vial was actually for
Scarecrow fangs weren’t like those big, goofy plastic teeth you clamped into your mouth as a kid. They were designed to be custom-fitted to your actual teeth.
Each kit came with:
– White powder capsules
– A small plastic vial filled with bonding liquid (the exact kind I found)
– The fangs themselves
Here’s how it worked:
– You’d snip the tip of the vial.
– Squeeze the liquid into a mixing tray or directly into the fang cap.
– Add the powder to create a moldable material.
– Press the fang onto your tooth and let it set.
Once hardened, the material formed a little custom “socket” that gripped your tooth. The result? Fangs that actually stayed put, looked real, and could be taken on and off after the first fitting.
The liquid in the vial was the key – it turned the powder into the perfect bonding mix.
