Gently pull back the rubber door seal to expose hidden areas. Soak a microfiber cloth in the vinegar solution (3–4 tbsp / 45–60 mL) and wipe thoroughly to remove mold, debris, and mildew.
Use a toothbrush for the tight crevices. Wipe again with a damp cloth to lift loosened dirt.
Step 5: Run the Vinegar Cleaning Cycle
Measure and pour 2 cups (473 mL) of white vinegar directly into the detergent drawer. Select the hottest wash cycle available (ideally 140°F / 60°C or higher) with no clothes inside.
Let the full cycle run (usually 1–1.5 hours) to break down mold, mildew, and soap scum inside the drum and internal pipes.
