For now, there is still no confirmation that the case has been formally reopened.
To some, Aaron Kosminski is the most convincing answer we have to the Jack the Ripper mystery. To others, he remains just one more heavily debated suspect in a case that refuses to fully close.
What is certain is that, more than a century later, the fight to name the killer – and to remember the victims – is still very much alive.
