Because of her chromosomal condition, loud noises can sometimes feel overwhelming and distressing for her. But during the flight, something unexpectedly joyful happened.
As Eloise looked out the window and spotted other planes taking off nearby, she suddenly began clapping excitedly with pure delight.
Richards later described her daughter in that moment as their little angel, someone who finds happiness in the tiniest things most people overlook. And perhaps that is what continues to move so many people about Eloise.
