Katie was driving when she noticed police lights behind her vehicle. Like any responsible driver, she pulled over and waited for the officer to approach.
At first, nothing seemed unusual.
Traffic stops happen every day, and she assumed there had been some minor issue that could be quickly clarified.
But as the conversation continued, confusion began to set in.
The officer reportedly informed her that she had been observed holding a mobile phone in her right hand while operating her vehicle.
Katie was shocked.
She immediately knew that the allegation could not possibly be true.
