“Beautiful dress she looks divine,” one admirer wrote on a Facebook post. Another added, “Overpriced but stunning. Isn’t she already a model. May be on loan [sic].”
Plenty of others skipped the compliments entirely. “Way over the top!” said one commenter, while another went further, adding, “Immoral to spend that on a dress!”
A third kept it blunt: “It’s not the red carpet, only a school formal.”
Some comments had nothing to do with the gown. Sunday’s resemblance to her father caught people off guard on Instagram. “She looks like her Dad,” one person noted, and another agreed, “She’s a mini Keith .”
A few kept things in perspective. “She waited a lifetime to have her daughters and she certainly can afford it. I think its absolutely beautiful and elegant for her age [sic]. ,” one supporter wrote. Others stayed terse, adding, “So unnecessary” and“She looks sad.”
