Phillip and Sally were simply going about their day when another dog allegedly attacked his guide dog.

According to Phillip, Sally became terrified afterward.
The once-confident guide dog who helped him navigate the world suddenly became fearful and anxious.
“She was grabbed around the neck,” Phillip explained. While there were no visible wounds, the emotional trauma changed everything.
Over time, Sally became too frightened to continue working as a guide dog.
Eventually, she had to be withdrawn from service.
For many people, that might sound like losing a pet.
For Phillip, it felt like losing his mobility.
