The Tale of Three Brave Scots

During the tumultuous days of World War Two, three valiant Scottish soldiers—Pte Angus McLeod, Cpl Dougie Fraser, and L/Cpl Fiona Campbell—found themselves in the clutches of German forces. Captured during a fierce battle, they faced interrogation in a hostile environment. However, they had a unique plan: they would communicate exclusively in Scots Gaelic.

The German captors, baffled by the unfamiliar language and mistaking them for rural Ukrainians, were caught off guard. Despite the soldiers being interrogated at gunpoint, subjected to a barrage of questions in German, French, and English, they remained steadfast in their use of Gaelic.

Their captors presented maps, attempting to extract vital information, but the Scots held their ground, speaking only in their native tongue.

As the hours dragged on, the frustration of the German officers grew palpable.
