A man has been shot and killed by a federal officer in Minneapolis, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has confirmed, deepening tensions in a city already gripped by protests following the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Good earlier this month.
The incident unfolded as demonstrations continued across Minneapolis, with authorities later declaring an unlawful assembly and urging people to leave the area.
According to DHS, officers were attempting to disarm the man when the situation escalated.
